Mid-Point Update

Since it is almost halfway through the year (already!), I am very due for a resolution update.

  1. Exercise at least four times per week; at least 2 of those times should be lifting weights.  I am happy to start with this one, because it is probably my most successful resolution of all!  In fact, in the last two months, I’ve been up to six times per week.
  2. Lose 20 pounds.  Unfortunately, I’m still at the same exact place I started with this one, despite all the exercise!  But I’ll keep trying!
  3. Read at least 36 books.  This one I am giving up on.  Not because I can’t do it but because of Resolution #5.  Obviously, I will continue to read, but will not make it to 36.  I’m only at five at this point.
  4. Post on needchocolate at least once per month.  Done, so far!
  5. Read through the Bible in one year.  This is the reason I can’t complete #3.  It’s a lot of reading!  Even so, I’m still stuck in March.
  6. Make our house a comfortable home.  As this one can’t really be quantified, I would say it’s been a success!

In conclusion, I have three successful resolutions out of six, and I will continue to work on all of them.
